COMMITTEE MEETINGS ARE THE 2ND MONDAY OF EVERY OTHER
MONTH BEGINNING WITH THE START OF THE LOCAL FISCAL YEAR: October,
December, February, April, June and August
AGENCY SHOP ONGOING CAMPAIGN:
The committee, as well as President Jack Rohl is asking that a
concerted effort be given by ALL unit presidents and their officers to
make sure agency shop payers are at a minimum in all units and that you
strive for 100% membership at all times. This is vitally important for a
couple of reasons - First, it strengthens CSEA and the unit and that
transforms into more members in the local and adds to a more powerful
voice. Second, That voice is given to the agency shop payer – by signing
our membership card, that person gains a voice in this union and the
chance to vote on issues affecting their future. All in all it is a win
for CSEA to have as many members as possible….think of something
creative to do, talk to the agency shop payers about the advantages of
being a member of CSEA and keep this Union strong P.E.O.P.L.E.
Public Employees Organized To Promote Legislative Equality is
CSEA’s political action program designed to promote and endorse
candidates. TBC
